Changing the pattern of repetitive music (or thoughts)

  • Change the song. Listen to music without lyrics (try classical, vibrational sound therapy or new age). You can also explore sound healing.
  • Studies on how classical music can help with relaxation, stress reduction, improve sleep patterns and helps you become more receptive to information (learning).
  • Meditate – there a variety of different types of meditation. I love using the Insight Timer app for guided meditations. Using malas as a meditation tool is helpful as well.
  • Other therapies to try: hypnotherapy, counseling (or counseling with EMDR), energy healing
